Kent Cricket Academy - Cricket Coaching Courses 2012

RSS
18 January 2012

The season is only three months away, the first games will be just around the corner before you know it, so why not take the chance to practice by getting on the Kent Cricket Coaching Courses this winter. Learn new skills, have a lot of fun at the same time and train in the same professional facility as the Kent players...

We have launched our new look public coaching courses this month. We are running a special programme for younger players on Wednesdays. These sessions will be designed for 6 to 11 year olds, and they will be set up to give children the best introduction to the game as possible. There will be lots of games and fun practices that will give the players a great chance to improve their cricket.  On Fridays we have a programme for 11 to 16 year olds that will feature net coaching and group practices working on the key skills of the game.  These sessions are for players of all abilities and we will always ensure that the coaching meets the needs of the players.

Both courses are now 10 week programmes (we are able to provide six week options in some cases – please call 01227 473605 for more details), so that we can improve the chances of players making improvements and becoming better players by the end of the course. The courses are a good way for the children to meet new friends and learn new skills in an enjoyable and professional environment. The indoor centre in The Academy is the best equipped cricket facility in Kent, and it gives us a great chance to help all types of players improve. We have a fully qualified and select team of coaches and we will be having special guest appearances by some of Kent’s first team squad throughout the 10 weeks.

Don’t delay – that first game is coming up and we will give you the best chance of having a really enjoyable season! The courses are now on-going and If you would like more details, please call us on 01227 473605 or email us at kccc.academy.kent@ecb.co.uk. We look forward to hearing from you.
